THE BLESSING OF THE LORD

Written by David L. Abbott

I was poor as Job's turkey

Hanging on by the skin of my teeth

But, then I heard of heaven's bounty

And what the Lord had done for me

So, then I put my trust in Jesus

And in the riches of His grace

Now, I'm happy in His blessings every day

I've got a smile upon my face

The blessing of the Lord maketh rich

And addeth no sorrow with it

The blessing of the Lord maketh rich

And addeth no sorrow with it

I want the blessing of the Lord

In my life every day

I want the Lord walking right beside me

Every step along the way

Because the blessing of the Lord maketh rich

And addeth no sorrow with it

INCREDIBLE

Written by David L. Abbott

I find it's so incredible that Jesus loves me

Incredible that He should care for  me

That I should have this Friend,

The King of Glory

It's incredible that He should walk with me

You know, I was just a child

I heard the voice of Jesus

And I responded to Him

He cleansed me of my sin and He set me free

He washed away my past

When I took on His name

And now  the Holy Ghost lives in me

Now I am walking in His blessings

You know the Lord's been good to me

He's the Healer of my body

He set my spirit free

I have His blessing on my family

The half has not been told

And one of these days before too long

I'll walk with Jesus on the streets of gold

How could I turn some other way
And try to live life on my own
When Jesus died so willingly
And with His blood my sins atone
I know that it would be so useless
To try to save myself
So, I'll put my trust in Jesus
And call upon His name when I need help

When the doctor shakes his head
and he says there's no hope
Your heart is breaking in two
There is one Who is able
He knows just what to do
The Great Physician,
He's gonna see you through

There is no mountain He can't tunnel through
There is no darkness
His light can't shine through
There is just nothing that my God can't do
Jesus, He'll see you through

I'm standing now redeemed
washed as white as the snow
I'm listening for that sound

The sound of the trumpet calling me home

Oh, the blood of Jesus
Oh, the blood of Jesus
Oh, the blood of Jesus
The blood Jesus shed for me

THE EMPTY TOMB SAYS IT ALL

Written by David L. Abbott

My life was in shambles so ruined by sin

I was hopelessly clinging to the mess I was in

But, one day at Calvary, Jesus died in my place

Now, I'm forever saved by His wonderful grace

The empty tomb says it all

Christ's death on the cross saved us from the fall

They placed Him in the grave,

But, hell could not hold Him

And the empty tomb says it all

THE ANSWER'S ON ITS WAY

Written by Darcy Abbott

Verse 1

We’ve got so many problems
The clouds have hid our view

Money’s tight, the bills aren’t paid
The suns not comin’ thru
But Jesus is the answer
He has you in His sights
Just turn it over to Him
And let Him clear your mind……

 Chorus
It’ll be all right

He’s comin’ thru
Your little bitty problem

He knows just what to do
So lift your hands and give Him praise
Just turn it over to Him

The answers on its way

Satan so quickly claims you for his prize
He sounds so convincing with deception and lies
He says, "Jesus is dead,
And He can't hear your call
But, the empty tomb says it all

GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH

Written by Darcy Abbott

When the castles that you've built

All crumble down

And your dreams are crushed to the ground

There is one Who is able to make all things new

Jesus, He'll see you through

God will see you through

God will see you through

Everything that's going on

He has planned to make you strong

God will see you through

(Verse 2)  Many dream of walls of jasper
Gates of pearl and streets of gold
In a land where there’s no sorrow
There’s no fears or growing old
For heaven’s choir I’ll be listening
I’ll join in the jubilee
But it’s Jesus I long for
It’s Jesus I’ll see

He loves me, He loves me, He loves me
His mercy and His grace, they cover me
He saved me, He saved me, He saved me
It's incredible He's mine for all eternity

And so my friend,

If you don't know the love of Jesus

What joy you can find in Him today

Just turn from sin and call upon the Savior

And then, along with me, you too can say

Incredibly Blessed Lyrics

HE'S MY LORD AND MY GOD

Written by David L. Abbott

He's my Lord and my God

He's not just a stranger to me

When I looked past the veil

It was easy to see

He's my Lord and my God

Thomas the doubter said,

"I won't believe until the nail prints I see."

But, when the Master appeared,

All his doubts fled away

And Thomas fell to his knees

IT'S JESUS I'LL SEE

Written by David L. Abbott

(Verse 1)  In this world men seek for pleasure
Some for fortune, some for fame
With no thought of salvation
And the One who died for them
But I’m longing for heaven
It’s a place prepared for me
Where I’ll dwell with my Savior
Throughout all eternity

(Chorus) For it’s Jesus that I want to see
Walls of jasper and streets of gold
Are not enough for me
Friends and family will be gathered
Over by the crystal sea
But it’s Jesus I long for
It’s Jesus I’ll see

 Bridge – On its way
Jesus is the answer…..Jesus is the way
Jesus has all power…..Just trust in Him today
It’ll be all right…..If you only knew
He heard you when you called Him
The answers comin' thru.

SIMEON'S SONG

Written by Darcy Abbott

The temple was the sight there in Jerusalem

An old man stood and prayed

As people came and went

He scanned the crowd each day,

He looked for that Promised One

He knew his eyes would see

Before his day had come

Then he saw that couple come,

They were bringing their newborn Babe

Hot tears filled his eyes

As the Child in his arms was laid

"Now, I can die in peace,

My dream has come true today."

The crowd just stopped and stared

And you could hear Simeon say'

(Chorus)  Tell me the truth, tell me the truth
Don’t let me believe a lie
I want to be saved when I die
Tell me the truth, Tell me the truth
Jesus Christ, He is the “Door”
The way to be saved forevermore
Tell me the truth, the truth.

(Verse 2)  The people cried at Pentecost
“What must we do?” We are so lost
Tell us the truth, the truth
Peter said, “Repent and be baptized
In the name of Jesus Christ”
He is the Truth, the truth

JUST BENEATH THE BLOOD

Written by Darcy Abbott

He Walked the hill called Calvary one day
My Jesus felt suffering, rejection and pain
He had no sin, our Lamb that was slain
And as His blood fell, it broke every chain

Just beneath the blood of Calvary's flow
A man stands forgiven,
Hands raised toward heaven
Washed whiter than snow
Just beneath the blood
A sinner stands clean
And all his guilty past is buried at last
Just beneath the blood

 Verse one
You are a wonder, sweet Jesus, my Lord
You are marvelous, the One I adore
And you are glorious, my Savior, my joy
Sweet Jesus, blessed Jesus, my Lord

JESUS, BLESSED JESUS

Written by David L. Abbott

Chorus
Jesus, blessed Jesus
Jesus, blessed Jesus, my Lord
I love you, I do
I give all my love to you
Jesus, blessed Jesus, my Lord

HE DIED SAVING ME

Written by David L. Abbott

He could have turned the stones to bread

to quench His gnawing hunger

He could have poured out the bitter cup

or passed it on to another

He could have called a million angels

with bloody swords to fight

But, Jesus would not cry for help

So, all alone He faced that dreadful night

He did not come to save Himself

But, Jesus came to save the world

He would not curse His enemies

He drank no gall to soothe His hurt

But, when they cried, "Save Yourself

And come down from the tree!

He did nothing to save Himself

But, Jesus died saving me

"I held Him, the Baby Messiah
I held Him, the Prince of Peace
I've waited here for years it seems
Just to see the King of Kings
And I held Him - that's all I need

And every time we come into this worship place

We sing about God's love and His amazing grace

Then the presence of the Lord,

It comes so close it seems

That we take Him in our arms

And echo Simeon's theme

I held Him, the precious Messiah

I held Him, the Prince of Peace

I've waited here, just worshiping

And now I fell the King of Kings

I held Him - that's all I need

If you are sick of all that's inside

The struggle for answers, a fight to survive

Just reach out to Jesus and His power to save

And in that moment you too can say

Bridge:

How could He take my sins away?

How could He turn my night to day?

It was His blood, Jesus' blood

Now, the skeptics today bring confusion to all

And tradition just won't let some folks see

But, Jesus Christ said,
"I'm the Way and the Life;

You can't know God unless you know Me."

ALL THAT I AM

Written by Darcy Abbott

I couldn't change my old heart

to make it new again

And i couldn't change my old life

So broken down with sin

But, all that I am

All I shall ever be

I owe to the blood, to the blood

Jesus shed for me

TELL ME THE TRUTH

Written by Darcy Abbott

(Verse 1)

Nicodemus came to One who taught,
“Jesus, I know you’ve come from God”
Tell me the truth, the truth
“Nicodemus, you must be born again
Of water and Spirit to enter in”
Then you’ll have truth, real truth.
